Fuel Cell

A solid oxide fuel cell converts fuel, e.g., natural gas, biogas, and air through a

high temperature electrochemical process into electricity without combustion.

Renewable energy credits (RECs) purchased from third parties, e.g., EBMUD,

will offset the CO2 produced as a byproduct from the electrochemical reaction.
